I use 3.2.3... The debug messages can be turned off by playing with the log4j config file in C:\jboss\jboss-3.2.3\server\default\conf\log4j.xml
You should deploy your application (as either a .war file, or a .war directory) by copying to C:\jboss\jboss-3.2.3\server\default\deploy. I have never seen this issue you mention regarding deploying jars under WEB-INF/lib. Is your app a simple web application, or an EJB app?
