Hi Ed, the too many redirects I think is a problem related with a previous session cookie from an old openmeetings instance. It is not something that happens for the general user. I did notice it recently though too, maybe worth revisiting.
Re the command line admin: Could it be with your complex password that you just missed to escape the characters? I did notice a similar problem with some characters when using the CLI installer. So I changed my install and automation scripts to not use them. I think it was using the '=' sign within a password. But it might be still possible to fix this if you escape the characters or put the values to pass into the script in quotation marks. I think if you type in ./admin.sh --help or --man You actually get the standard linux/bash help script. Which is also what is printed on: https://openmeetings.apache.org/CommandLineAdmin.html#command-reference There is actually some examples here: https://openmeetings.apache.org/CommandLineAdmin.html Did those instructions not work for you?
