Hi Gary, the plugin itself doesn't have any parameters to have that kind of output. However, you could add a custom CSS style [#1] so the list gets as many columns as you need.
This CSS could be built into all the referral plugins, it would be a nice feature to have, so there's no need to have the custom CSS style and instead have a 'columns' parameter. Would you mind opening a JIRA for this? Or even better, a PR if you want to tackle this directly, should be relatively easy, and you can always ask if you need guidance.
