Cassandra and -XX:+UseLargePages

Hello.

Can anyone comment on the performance impact (positive or negative) 
of running Cassandra configured to use large pages under Linux?
Yes, YMMV applies, but I thought I'd ask before enlisting sysadmin Fu, etc.
