Sorry Mark, I have confused you. Let me rephrase. - I have seen this problem occur on the Windows 2000 Server operating system.
- It is nothing to do with Ant or java, it is a bug in the operating System. - The solution is to use shorter directory/file names. - The 8.3 filenames is a red herring. Please ignore.
