Thanks for the speedy reply.

I have gone through the registry and looked for the 8.3 filename support
features.

If i was to use 8.3 support for doing the transformations, how would this
be propogated to ant so the style task can run?  If you never solved this
problem then i guess it doesnt matter, but if you have, any information you
could give me would be fantastic.
