I think I rebuilt the squeeze images recently and I forgot to clear the
root password (now fixed).
As I have been asked this question before, I will try to make it quite
clear: there is no password set (so don't ask me what it is), this is
different from having the password empty/cleared.

As per the other reply, just loop mount the image and clear the password
yourself.
