Hello, I'm not sure to understand the question. You can have only one "big" screen session with all your UML's inside, each on a virtual terminal (and thus switchable through Ctrl-A xx).
For this you can use a specific .screenrc file to start many terminals and commands at the initialisation of screen. The following link has some example screenrc files: http://www.softpanorama.org/Utilities/Screen/screenrc_examples.shtml Screen is very convenient for UMLs, and should fit your needs.
