Ok, I'll try to compile a debug kernel and come back with a stack trace
in the next few days.

In the meanwhile, I've observed that the problem not only affects to
ip_tables and iptable_nat but also to some NFS-realted modules,
particularlly: nfsd, exportfs, lockd, nfs_acl and sunrpc. Once again,
including then in /etc/modules in the vm filesystem solves the problem.

I'm mentioning this just in the case it could help to establish some
kind of "pattern" in the modules that cause the problem.

Best regards,
