IMO this defeats the purpose because it is difficult to modify; but it would make for a good click-and-run appliance. I think (run.sh + kernel + fs.img) has the elements for learning: * comes in one convenient package so download requires no thought * easy to run the first time * easy to modify which encourage customisations and greater understanding * if you break it, don't worry because you still have the tarball to start again -- Rich ____________________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!7 Mail has just got even bigger and better with unlimited storage on all webmail accounts. http://au.docs.yahoo.com/mail/unlimitedstorage.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
