Hi, I'm trying to run a x86_64 host system with a 32bit and/or a 64bit guest system.
Whilst applying the uml kernel patch -bb1 for the 2.6.18 kernel, I get the following messages: -> patching file arch/um/Makefile-x86_64 Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R? [n] Apply anyway? My 32bit guest kernels won't start on the 64bit host, either. Could someone clarify the status of UML and SKAS3 on 64 bit hosts? - Is it possible to run 32 bit guests on 64 bit hosts - in skas3? in skas0? how? - Is it possible to run 64 bit guests on 64 bit hosts - in skas3? - If a 64bit guest won't run in skas3, how much of a performance penalty do you expect in running skas0 with a noptracefaultinfo set? I tried to search the list for this information, but there was no sufficient answer to me, sorry if this request is redundant in any kind.
