These messages can be ignored. However, you can eliminate them on a Debian
guest by removing the following packages:
console-data
console-common
console-tools
I don't know if you need to remove all of them, but they appear to be
completely extraneous for a UML instance.
good to know. knowing this I'll probably leave them in so that the same
filesystem image can be used for uml systems and real hardware.
