Thanks for your response. Sorry for my message that I mistakenly sent unfinished and without first reading the list's archives. If I read the archives correctly, there will anyway be a problem as long as I use a 2.4 kernel as the host kernel. So I moves /lib/tls away, and it now seems to work fine.
