How deep does the simulation need to go? If you wish to include the actual 
wifi protocols then you are in for a big chunk of work. If you only need the 
overlying network protocols, then you can do that with UML hosts. But you may 
wish to make your own virtual AP that maintains unreliable connections with 
the nodes to simulate the wifi connections.

With RAM you can. cycles is harder to do.

Read the docs + google :-). I cannot help you any further, I'm not an expert 
on UML.
