[uml-user] Setting up an virtual wireless network

Hello everyone,
We have to create a virtual wireless network in a lab. Can this be done using uml?( Is there any better option?)  I guess we will need uml drivers for wireless cards.  Are they available for uml? Also, we have to emulate a large number of nodes, say 50-100 and we actually have only 3 linux boxes (256 MB ram each) for doing that. Is there a way I can restrict resources of a uml instance so that more can be run on a single machine? I am new to uml, please help me finding any resources that may be related. Any help is appreciated.
