For what I can tell (UML user-developer from 2+ years, following both uml-user and uml-devel) Matt Zimmerman, while being very active (with bug-reports and diagnoses) until some time ago, seems to have disappeared - I don't know about the current state of UML packages in Debian - but I've seen it mostly sticking with 2.4 and some problematic versions. His last mail here was at 2005 Feb 26, and in a mail of 9/9/2005 he wrote: > UML in Debian has been in bad shape for some time, after the hostfs > breakage, and then all the reports of hangs in tt mode > (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=260111), and I would very > much like to get a stable version in soon. and > Unfortunately, I'm very busy with work, and I'm not sure when I > will have time to try all of these patches individually. So, if this is true, you (or anyone else _working on it_) could possibly want to become UML maintainer for Debian, at some time. > If you would like to, have a look at it! > SteX -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
