UML in Debian has been in need of a new maintainer for some time; I don't
use it anymore and don't have time to keep up either.  Several people have
expressed interest, and an Alioth project was created for this purpose, but
as far as I'm aware, nobody has taken the lead on it yet.

I hope that someone does; it is unfortunate not to have useful UML packages
in Debian anymore.
