did you start from 2.4.x (x<26) UML kernel? dabeian support if out of date and you need to use the patch I provided to WNPP to update to 2.4.27 or 2.6.12! If you start from the root_fs from UML archive and you use the old deb pkg you encountered the problem you mentioned. > Is it still recommended to use these images?
