Hi Joel, thanks for your reply. In the meantime I recompiled my guest's glibc with linuxthreads support. Now booting uml nearly works, all init scripts are executed but I don't reach a login prompt:
* Cleaning /var/lib/net-scripts/state ... [ ok ] * Cleaning /var/lock, /var/run ... [ ok ] * Cleaning /tmp directory ... [ ok ] * Starting lo * Bringing up lo * 127.0.0.1/8 [ ok ] * Adding routes * 127.0.0.0/8 ... [ ok ] * Initializing random number generator ... [ ok ] INIT: Entering runlevel: 3 * umlboot starts network interfaces config ... * Unable to locate /opt/umlboot script ! * Starting sshd ... [ ok ] * Starting local ... [ ok ] Then after some minutes I get this output: INIT: Id "c1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c5" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c6" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel That's all... Any clue? Regards, Tassilo ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
