Hi, Are you now trying to create a copy of the DAM App?
This is possible, and should work more or less in the way you describe. If you don't want to replace the existing DAM app, then you need to copy the app into your own module, and perhaps rename a few things to prevent conflicts. In this case you will want to use all new UUIDs, not the existing ones! Easiest way to get all new UUIDs is just to "Duplicate" the node. You'll get a copy with new UUIDs. You can then move that copy into your own module node in the config workspace. You can do all this in the config workspace and try it all out before exporting the configuration. The export to XML step is needed so that your module has "bootstrapping" and reinstalls everything when you add it in a new magnolia instance. I assume you've read the documentation on developing apps?
