Hi Xena,

I think the easiest way is to edit the form of the DAM app in the configuration 
App, make sure it all works as expected, and then export the result as XML. 
Editing the XML sounds error-prone to me.

Also, you can make a backup of the existing configuration just by exporting the 
node before making any changes, then you'll have it handy as a reference and 
can easily go back to the original state by re-importing the backup.
