Thanks for the help Antti I've been experimenting with our templates, and long term solution is definitely to move them into modules in the classpath. But short term we want to migrate as fast as possible, so I also need a quick fix for this.
Moving the imported tempaltes in the JCR to the 'resources' workspace helps a little bit as I now can load pages using the templates and create new pages using our templates. But I can't find the templates in the Resources app. To move the templates in the JCR i renamed the xml files from templates.xxx to resources.xxx and changed one property from mgnl:template to mgnl:resource. Are there other changes I need to do to make the templates appear in the resources app, or is this something that's not supported? If it's not supported, will it be in 5.4.3?
