Activation works fine now. Also the mod_jk serves either one of the tomcat fine. Now we seem to have a problem with multisite: While the raw url www.domain.com/special works (both tomcats on 8080 and 9080), the shortened url www.domain.com works only for 1 tomcat (port 8080) wheresa the tomcat on 9080 serves a mognolia 404 page. We have set up a new node in the multisite configuration with "domains" node and "mappings" node.
