put “あいうえお” into fled 1
on mouseUp
set the useUnicode to true
if charToNum(the unicodeText of char 2 of fld 1) is "12356" then
put unicode (numToChar(12354)) into char 2 of fld 1
end if
end mouseUp
the characters will be “ああうえお”
