Although counter intuitive, you will probably find the quickest way to validate 
the data has been entered correctly is to enter it twice, either by one to two 
people. (The coding will be simpler for one person). It will certainly be much 
quicker than proof reading. As Mike Bonner pointed out, the volumes shouldn't 
be a problem for a skilled 8 finger 2 thumbs person even with double data entry.
