It'll be good to hear from Monte on this, but I'd guess the reason merGoogle isn't actively supported is because the meat of it is handling authentication, and the REST API itself if pretty straightforward.

Now that Google requires OAuth2 (they stopped supporting their earlier auth), and LC has the actively-supported OAuth2 library in all editions, there would seem little need for merGoogle, esp. since the OAuth2 lib works on all supported platforms.

Monte, is this correct?
