Not so. You *could* get a 32 bit version of these OS. In fact if you were upgrading from a 32 bit Win 7 you HAD to upgrade to the 32 bit version of 8, and in like manner, from 8 to 10. The only way to go to 64 bit was to buy a NEW license of those OS, and do a clean install. You could not upgrade.
