Yes. When I do this in OO under Linux, nothing happens. But if you make an html file in linux with the entries shown and then display it in a browser, you do get bullets.
Dunno. There is something about unicode in wikipedia, and it also claims you can press control + shift in Gtk+ apps. Doesn't seem to work for me. Or maybe my apps are not Gtk+.
