There's a really interesting project at OpenUsability for the usability of
Print Dialogs in open source desktops:

Their proposed solution is really refreshing, an miles away better than the
current standard in closed source desktops. I hope we'll soon see this
futuristic dialog implemented as a FreeDesktop standard.
