If I want to print on anything but standard paper, I have first to open page setup, select a printer there, select page size
close this dialog, and only then select print.
It would be much better to have one more option in print dialog to
select page size there, and maybe customize margins there too.
Btw there is a bug I reported on gnome bugzila
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=551356
It seems that this isn't eog specific bug, it seems like page margins
rotate with page orientation, although they describe
actual printer limitations.

This might be better on the gtk-devel list, so I've cross-posted it there.

There do seem to be real problems printing to specific paper sizes. I don't think there is a satisfactory way of telling gthumb (my pet project) to print to a 4x6" photo paper (for example) with zero margins, which some printers are capable of doing. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the cups drivers, or gtk-print, or something else, but it just doesn't work...
Maybe I'm missing something.
