i swap my wallpaper a lot and try out a lot of different images before settling on one i like as a wallpaper for a while. so this suggestion would be useful for people like me. if i remember correctly KDE lets you do this and i think it was one of the things i enjoyed when i was testing out KDE. it's been quite a while since my short use of KDE though and to be honest i don't really miss the feature that much.
speaking of wallpapers and swapping them a lot, i think it would be nice to be able to add user defined directories in the appearance settings to choose wallpapers from. so instead of picking from Wallpapers, Pictures Folder, or Colors & Gradients we could add another directory and just test out the images there with the various settings (tile/zoom/center/scale/fill/span) to see if we like them or not. it would also be nice if we could pick and choose images/wallpapers to easily create our own changing wallpaper list. i don't know if there's a tool for it but making the text file for them yourself is a little tedious.
