That sounds cool , but accidental runs should be avoided . Here's what
I thought of when I saw your idea :
open dash -> type command with "run:" or "execute:" or something like
that in front of it ( "run:ubuntu-bug unity" ) -> "Run command in
terminal ?" dialogue appears -> Ok -> a terminal opens and executes
the command .
I think the confirmation dialogue should have a checkbox not to appear
again .

That would take too long to run a command. It has been Alt+F2 for years.
There is an old southern American saying. It goes: "If it isn't broke,
don't fix it!"
