Initially my system was unusable, but I have removed fglrx for now and enabled radeon by modifying my xorg.conf (previously created by the amdccle tool)
Driver "radeon" in my xorg.conf where it used to say fglrx.. performance seems surprisingly good with compiz, etc. Its a good workaround for now that enables gnome whilst we wait for fglrx to catch up again -- fglrx fails build on 2.6.35-10-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
