Hi ZeroBeat, sorry to hear the troubles you've run through, and thanks for reporting them to make Ubuntu better.
What would be most helpful though is if you could narrow your bug report to a specific problem that we can address in the distro. Since you've made significant changes to your system between each comment, which makes it difficult to spot what change needs done to the distro to make it better. This means that the files you originally posted really aren't consistent with how you've got things configured now. If you've installed -nvidia, that also makes the configuration not relevant to improving -nouveau. If your objective has been more about getting your system up and running, rather than working on improving -nouveau support, I would direct you to the UbuntuForums or to http://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ which are more appropriate for tech support queries. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- 10.04 crashed during boot (wrong disply resolution) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
