Since daily-live (lucid desktop amd64 01.04.2010) first boot-screen uses wrong 
resolution (attached picture).
Error message are not shown during boot anymore (but they're still in log).
When boot up sequence switches to the X display, the screen becomes corrupted. 
There are portions of the screen from the last time the system ran, but they 
are scattered across the screen. I can hear the Ubuntu startup sounds, so the 
system is coming up.
(take a look at #542950).
But I can switch to console and enter commands.
blacklist=vga16fb didn't work
nouveau.modeset=0 didn't work
