SolidSlash: On my Dell 17' notify-osd has never shown this bar. I know it should appear when I change brightness, but on Jaunty+fglrx, Karmic+radeon, Karmic+fglrx, Lucid+radeon and now on Lucid+fglrx I have never seen the progress bar, although the brightness changes. This is why I think this is not a fglrx-related bug.
