The problem is also present if I try the live cd (i386) on a Dell Mini Inspiron 9 but with a variant, during the boot I see the Kubuntu logo (usplash or xplash?) but after I not see the login screen but a black screen with in the middle the mouse pointer frozen.
I think this is not only nVidia problem because the Dell Mini has a Intel vga card. -- Karmic livecd wont boot due to graphics card not working with opensource nvidia drivers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433925 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nv in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
