I'm experiencing this bug as well. The system freezes and I can move the mouse around. Some times I can change to tty1-tty6, some times I can't. I tried to change to kernel 3.3.6 and 3.3.7 and this problem disappears. For two days no freezes. But other problems appeared. My camera stopped working, I can't change brightness with keyboard keys and who knows what more. I hope a REAL fix is released soon without breaking everything else.
