I commented on a bug that was a duplicate to this one, so I'll carry my findings over here. I've tested versions 0ubuntu3 and 0ubuntu4 and neither has the problem. It seems to have been introduced in 0ubuntu5 (the current version), and it seems to be related to some changes to coasting speed. There is a noticeable difference between 0ubuntu4 and 0ubuntu5 in regards to coasting, so something was definitely changed and I believe this is likely where the problem lies.
