Also have the same bug. When I search for additional drivers it shows only the Nvidia proprietary driver then says nVidia driver activated, not being used.
11.04 64-bit with Nvidia GeForce 8400GS Clean install. I have not tried any 3d acceleration, but things seem to run ok.
