I don't see how it's Ubuntu One, as this bug occurs in Debian too. Also, I disabled Ubuntu One upon a fresh installation of Maverick anyway. The theme issue can disappear for a while and then come back again, hence why people try fixes and think they've worked, but in fact they haven't worked.
