Random freezes in UXA regardless of KMS/UMS were fixed for me in the commits between - NEWS: Add notes for 2.7.99.1 snapshot and Revert "Leave allocator running until lower-level CloseScreens are done"
on master branch. Also fixed in 2.7 branch (pre 2.7.1) as of - 3D_STATE_VERTEX_BUFFERS takes four 32-bit values, not three. whereas it was still broken in 2.7.0 release.
