Now that's an improvement! What it needs is a user customisable favourites section at the top, and little triangles to fold the other categories to save space and I'd use it.

I do want to rewrite this as a supplimentary lens that can sit alongside
the main apps lens without conflicting with it so I will start again in
python, but it was only just an hour or two to rip out the "recently
used" and "stuff you don't have" categories and put in the familiar ones.

Is there any chance you could do a quick writeup of what you did, as I think that would be very useful for those of us who want to customise things, even if it does require some programming.
