Having said that I get all sorts in doc and docx formats that I meant to review and edit, and I find I am forced to run Word (more than one version) to allow to work on the docs I get sent. I also use a commercial PDF editing tool http://www.qoppa.com/pdfstudio/ But there are several Open Source pdf editors (assuming the pdf isn't locked) around, I have just stuck with PDF Studio (and Softmaker Office) as I already had Windows licensed before moving to Ubuntu. A search on the official Ubuntu help forum for editing PDF should throw up several ideas. Graham
