I agree - I have a LOT of pdfs and whenever I open that particular directory it takes a few seconds to display all the files - it's not regenerating thumbnails, it just seems to be ordering the files. I too had to disable the preview. It's a pity it can't be set on a "per directory" basis as it seems the preference is set on all directories. -- Patrick Bulteel
