I was trying to run a N500 today from a live CD and it would not boot from the cd drive without first changing the bios boot order. I did not want to do this so I booted from a live usb stick (10.04) I saw a reported comment that the n500 by default does not have the bios set to boot from CD. I got to the boot order menu by using F12 at the first screen, then choosing usb. If I had edited the bios for a changed boot sequence I think I would still have needed to use F12. hth -- alan cocks Ubuntu user -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
