I upgraded my Acer Aspire One with the Netbook Remix flavour of 9.10 and it went just fine with the exception of there being no means of shutting down the machine. However, Given that this was a known issue with a readily available work around from ubuntu.com, it caused no problem. I do wonder whether some charge into an update without doing their research first. Having said all that, I am holding back on upgrading my laptop and server ... just for a bit, you understand.
