I've not had any luck getting the server iso to boot from a usb pen-drive, it tends to fail when it looks for the cd drive! However! The netboot iso does work. There is a little gotcha with the viglen though with the latest images, in that it doesn't have the required drivers for the HD controller. There is a workaround, as described in the bug report here (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/318805) (thanks popey!) I did this on my Viglen the other day!
