Thats a pretty useless idea, any phone that can do that sort of thing
would already have high speed data connections, or an intergrated WiFi
system. Any other phone wouldn't run apps like that, especially in the
post on the forum, which mentions using it as a cordless phone, which
would use a very large amount of CPU and memory, which most mobile
devices do not posess. Another problem is the fact that there arent
many phones out there configured to receive internet connections over
bluetooth, mainly because they already have a connection themselves...

... You wouldn't gain anything from using such a system, if there was
one. There is specialised hardware etc that already does things like
that (see a cheap tesco's cordless phone, or a PDA from any fairly
large shop like PC World...)
