Get a better supported network card? :S

Hmm.

Not wishing to belittle your perception of the importance of this issue, but
it never ceases to amaze me how so many bugs are "critical" or "show
stoppers".

There was a lengthy thread about how the cd ripping application
has a bug recently. There were a lot of unnecessarily bad comments on the
bug report about how the fact that a dialog box doesn't close under normal
circumstances, is a show stopper!

Have you had a word with the people who can actually _do_ something about
it? The developers. Maybe you should drop by #ubuntu-devel or the network
manager channel and speak nicely to the devs to see what you can get done.
They are people after all, with their own priorities, aims and objectives.

Cheers,
Al.
